Around 250,000 people gathered on The Mall, near the magnificent Buckingham Palace, which is the residence of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth on Monday to see a pop concert. The concert took place on the third day of the solemn celebration of the Diamond Jubilee of Queen – Her Majesty is on the throne for 60 years. Pop stars of first magnitude, including Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Elton John entertained Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth and the audience. Tickets were distributed free of charge to residents of the United Kingdom by drawing lots. At 10,000 tickets were filed 1.3 million applications, therefore, the competition was about 130 people on one ticket.
