On the Yamal Peninsula has been found frozen mammoth. 50-pound female died about 10,000 years ago at the age of five months.

At first they called Yura mammoth, in honor of the archeologist who found it. But when they learned that it’s a girl, then called her at all, after the wife of an archaeologist. At the moment it is one of the finest specimens of mammoth, whose body has been preserved to this day.
