Photo of huge snake, biggest snake in the world. Photograph purporting to show a 55ft snake found in a forest in Malaysia has become an internet sensation. Biggest snake in the world. The huge snake is really a monster. It’s a huge, huge snake ever seen before. Worlds biggest snake pictures.

The thread claimed the huge snake was one of two enormous boas found by workers clearing forest for a new road. They apparently woke up the sleeping snakes during attempts to bulldoze a huge mound of earth. This is Biggest snake in the world!!

“On the third dig, the operator found there was blood amongst the soil, and with a further dig, a dying huge snake appeared,” said the post.

“By the time the workers came back, the wounded boa had died, while the other snake had disappeared. The bulldozer operator was so sick that he couldn’t even stand up.”

The post claimed that the digger driver was so traumatised that he suffered a heart attack on his way to hospital and later died.

The dead snake was 55ft (16.7m) long, weighed 300kg and was estimated to be 140 years old. Biggest snake in the world Huge snake!

it’s fake. you see how they hold the snake as far up to the camera as possible, while they are sitting as far back as possible. things closest to the camera will look bigger than the same-sized things in the background!

Responder
Dilkington say: diciembre 1, 2012 a las 5:55 am

I agree, taking perspective into consideration and using the person standing in the background as scale reference, I reckon the snake can’t be longer than 10m.

Also, this is very tragic. How would you like having a snake buldoze your home and kill your mate?

Responder
remz say: diciembre 14, 2012 a las 10:43 pm

you both are stupid..the snake is hanging in a bulldoser, the bulldozer itself will serve as your measuring tool to estimate the size of the snake..its like putting a coin beside the specimen.

Dakota say: mayo 8, 2012 a las 2:56 pm

First of all that is not a boa that is a python. You can clearly tell that it is fact a Reticulated Python. Though these dont usually get that big. It is theorized that there is a chance they can reach that size. But this is not the case.

Finally look at the size of the bucket thats holding it up compared to the size of the cab of the tractor. Completely out of scale.

This is just a trick of perception. Now if you were to figure that the bucket was 4 foot wide (which is highly unlikely) That snake would only be around 22 feet long. Really that bucket is only 2.5 feet wide (based on the size of the tractor)which would put that snake at around 14 feet.

Riticulated pythons are the longest of all snakes, One live specimen is in Thailand which is 49′. This does not suprize me at all, there are still bigger snakes out there we just have not found them yet. Nor should we.

What a crock. It’s a perspective trick with camera placement, which seems to be the favorite trick of internet dorks when pulling these snake scams. Like we haven’t seen this before with the Diamondback Rattler in Florida, or all the others that are jammed up close to the camera.

You might fool some uneducated Malaysian natives, but only if they are about 12 yrs old.

PS — the 49-foot snake in Thailand is just another internet legend. If someone really had one, they’d be making millions displaying it. Just feeding it — cows? horses? — would be worth a million on Pay Per View

Agree with Dakota dice….this is a great example of depth of field creating the illusion that the snake is much longer than it really is. Once you convince your mind that the bucket is much closer to the viewer/camera than the cage containing the driver then it becomes obvious.

"Larry" say: mayo 20, 2012 a las 9:10 pm

Yeah as already stated, this is depth perception. There has never been a snake nowadays that big, and that is no boa. Titanoboa, from the Paleocene epoch period after the dinosaurs went extinct, was around 50+ feet. :O

poor snake it can live longer yet its killed by the workers while they were clearing the forest , the worker dig too deep onto the snake that he damaged its head and killed it.

Man, we humans sure are great! We use bulldozers to destroy a habbitat, find a 55ft 140 year old snake, and then we!…..kill it before we even know what it was….. High five us! lol……good thing this is fake :P

I think this proves why no dinosaur or whatever big monster animal exists from thousand years: men can not live together with such big animals. So men kill it for safety.

Worst photoshop ever, I wouldnt even call it that way.
Just like Dakote sais: The scale of the bucket in comparence with the snake shows are normal sized python ( not boa ). The rest of the image was made smaller to make the snake look so big.Compare the size of the bucke with the sizee of the bulldozer. Its impossible ( the bulldoze would fall forward )

lol really? some of the points are dumb, you have never seen a digger with a HUGE front bucket far bigger then the cab itself? (i have and ive seen that here in canada where there isnt that much construction when compared to some other places) and obviouslly the bucket is closer to the camera…but look at how high it is off the ground, the arm is extended above the cage, and the bucket a lil further above that and the snake wrapped around the top, id say this is real for sure, too bad it died though, and for a road, what a shame, good to know there are still a few true beasts of nature left out there, hopefully the other one that got away can live another 100 years

“The post claimed that the digger driver was so traumatised that he suffered a heart attack on his way to hospital and later died.”

- completely bullshit article. these is just another example of someone trying to cover their mistakes of killing another God creature by telling other people that they accidentally killed the snake while clearing the forest to build road. infact, this is the truth..

:- they were not clearing the forest to build new road but simply for their logging activities.

:- while busy destroying the forest they found the snakes and kill it.

:- the bulldozer operator a.k.a the snake killer was deeply shocked that the fact among hundreds of snakes he killed, this is the largest snake he had ever killed in his life.

:- the digger driver felt guilty killing this innocent creature and told his mates that he want to leave the site and ask them to fake the story when they told everyone else.

- stop destroying the world, quit telling another lie, cease to sin.. please..

p/s : the only truth is that this is a very large snake!

I think this is real arround 17meter, if u see the man that standing up in the right of the tractor and we multiple his high to 4 so that that tractor from land to higher part is 4 X 2 = 8 meter X 2 = 16 meter plus some of the snake body that still landed to the ground. In Kalimantan/Borneo Island which is part of Indonesia and malaysian region, there are thousand creature life and some of them still untouchable.

Responder
Erik say: julio 23, 2012 a las 3:20 pm

if the snake is 55 ft, when comparing with the shovel of the tractor, the shovel would have to be about 14 ft, pure optical illusion, because snake 30 ft closer to the camera

the forest is north of malaysia and the pic is quite old. the workers were part building the east-west highway to connect malaysia’s two coast. this pic was taken back in early 1980s. there is no optical illusion to the pic.

Yeah. Can’t agree more. I have seen Anacondas of much bigger size and attitude. I think I seen on TV that these snakes keep growing by consuming a local plant that the Westerners called the Blood Orchid.

There has been a lot of exaggeration about the snake and the death of the driver. However, if it really happened, I feel sad for the snake and the dead partner.

What’s the point bragging about having seen the biggest snake in the world, if so-called development, ends up killing it!! That’s the sort of rationale that only makes sense to scumbags and bean counters sitting in Manhattan!!
Hope you all choke on whatever you eat!!
