Here exhibited unique copies of photos taken for the book “Rock Climbing in North Wales” (1906) and “Rock Climbing in the Sky” (1908). Extraordinary images were first made in the world of mountaineering photographers. All photos were taken at the risk of life. Yet we must remember that at that time there was no climbing technology equipment. By the end of the XIX century the basic equipment of climbers were only heavy thick ropes. Innovative carbine was invented only in 1911. In 1880, in the Lake District also used wooden poles.
